Interview Thank you email-Proper not proper?
I just interviewed with a search committee via phone and it went well. If it goes well, I will be invited for an in-person interview. I was planning on sending a thank you email to each individual member of the search committee; however I have heard it is always best to send thank you notes via snail mail. Since this is just an interview over the phone, would it be appropriate to send an email and then if I receive the in person interview, then send the thank you letters via mail?
Thank you

So really it just depends. I'm a teacher and when I was looking and interviewing for jobs from May-mid July I would mail the TY note but from mid July until school started I would e-mail the TY since I knew they were shorter on time and had to make a decision fast.
