That seems so weird! But, now everyone with a toddler can put them to work-I mean they already get banana all over everything anyway. Give them the peel and some shoes and you'll entertain them for an hour!
I double dog dare you both to try this with your husbands shoes in front of them. LOL! I contemplated it with DH's work boots but I'm pretty sure I'd be dead before I had a chance to explain. Not sure that the Coast Guard approves of the banana boot method.
