What do you ladies usually eat for lunch?
I'm here eating my 100 cal pita thingy with deli meat and mustard, a yogurt, and an apple......
I love routine but sometimes it just gets old.

Re: What do you ladies usually eat for lunch?
Main dish: either leftovers, PB&J, or a big salad with cheese and a hard boiled egg
Sides: sometimes leftovers, carrots, fruit, yogurt, string cheese
I try to keep lunch pretty healthy so I can justify a small dessert in the evening. I also eat a morning snack and an afternoon snack.

Lunch? Oh right, it's lunch time! Better go dig through the fridge and find something...
Usually I take leftovers, but last night there weren't any.
I got a sandwich from the hospital cafeteria. I had a turkey and american cheese sandwich on flax and grain bread with a little mayo, lettuce, and bannana peppers.
A dill pickle on the side and a small baggie of chips....and a Wild Cherry Pepsi.
Just had my lunch dessert of a York Peppermint Patty.
A salad, w/turkey, or half a turkey or PB sandwich, crackers, a cheese and a fruit leather.
Sometimes I'll have a yogurt or some leftover. I need to get back on the wagon and plan things better.

my read shelf:
Most often leftovers of some sort.
I get bored with food pretty easily, so our dinner menu is pretty varied.
My back-up is always a HC or LC meal with a veggie.
I usually bring a piece of fruit for breakfast.
Lunch is usually a sandwich: deli meat, tuna, PB&J (accompanied by goldfish), or soup (sometimes with a grilled cheese or whole grain English muffin), or pasta with sauce & cheese, or leftovers from dinner/restaurant, occasional homemade mac & cheese.
And I bring a yogurt and/or granola bar in case I get hungry in the afternoon (like when I only have soup for lunch) but don't always eat it.
its almost lunch time?!
Usually they are leftovers with either a fruit or veggie.
My actual lunch is usally a frozen lunch (Smart Ones, Lean Cuisine, Michalina's Lean Gormet, etc.). I try to keep them as healthy as possible. If I don't have one of those, I'll take left overs if I can. Once or twice a month I'll get Subway or similar.
For snacks, on a daily basis, I bring a banana, a TLC granola bar, carrots, and a yogurt. Sometimes I'll mix it up, but that's my usual. Sometimes I eat everything I bring, sometimes I don't.
I have pretty much the same as Jo, minus the salad and egg
Today it was leftover pizza and piergoes. I brought apples and PB crackers for snacks.
ETA: packing lunch is an art for me. I ALWAYS eat everything I bring but so I don't like to bring "just in case" snacks, but if I don't pack enough I end up buying something. This happens pretty often
I just went and bought a pb cookie the size of my face and ate it all.... b/c I didn't pack enough. (sorry I had to tell someone!)
I have a whole drawer dedicated to snacks, gum, and tea to avoid going out and buying stuff. I'm not even joking. I'm constantly eating or drinking something.
