That's what my doctor told me today

I asked about my weight gain, since I've gained a total of 18lbs as of today. She didn't seem too concerned, but she said she'd like to see me only gain about 12 more. Booo!
Re: eat more veggies
That is only 30 lbs, which is on the low end of the range. I wouldn't worry too much about your gain. I gained almost 40 lbs, and have lost most of it without trying. But eating more veggies is good adivce!
Every doctor is so different huh? My doctor is not concerned about my weight gain at all, and I am only a little ahead of you. At my last appt, I was up 19 lbs (1.5 a week basically since then).
Eating more veggies is a good thing. Try to throw them into your meals (like if you make lasagna or another pasta, steam some spinach and mushrooms in with it).
Now if I could stop myself from making biscuits tonight, that would be super duper.
I've gained 25+ and the only one upset about it is me.
I've added more veggies and fruit, but it's not making a difference. I just feel better overall about it.
That's because you're already half the size of me! Seriously though, it wouldn't kill me to get on the treadmill every now and then

I think the veggies are a good idea, but I'm always a fan of veggies.

My Randomness Blog!!
After 16 weeks with Nate, my gaining was so out of my control. I think the month I ate the healthiest, I gained 2 lbs per week, which was my biggest jump in weight between appts. I really can't see that my weight gain was affected by my diet. Usually, I gained 1-1.5 lbs per week.
I've been better this time because I'm not feeling as bad for the most part (though the past 7 - 10 days my fatigue has been worse than ever before), so I think I'm eating better, and I've been exercising (a bit), which I didn't with Nate. I'm only through 1st tri, but I've gained the same amount this time as last time, so far.
I have a hypothesis that I'll gain about the same amount this time around (43+ lbs), even though I'm planning on being healthier. We'll see.
