Re: Funny/Thrifty/Favorite Recent Purchases
I just bought this onesie from zulily.com for Alex:
I laughed out loud for realz when I saw it and had to get it for him. I had a gift card from the baby shower and rationalized the shipping costing the same amount as the shirt itself (total purchase = $10). I'll probably regret it later, but oh well, it'll be adorable when Alex is wearing it

We're taking a little weekend getaway to Atlanta. We pricelined a hotel and got the Hyatt Regency, a 4-star hotel, for $50 a night. Woot.
Also, Kroger has Poweraid and Vitaminwater for 49cents each this week. We bought 60.
Two separate trips if that makes it any better. Now that baseball season is starting this will save us a ton of money. We usually stop at the gas station and spend $3 a bottle.
I've been eyeing up a specific pair of maternity jeans from Gap for the past 3 months. I found them on ebay-new with tags, for $20.00. The price on the Gap website is $78.00.
The fit is amazing, so comfortable and make my butt look so small. LOVE THEM!
I love great deals on great merch!
With all the rain we can get I was sick of my shoes and socks being soked walking into work, so I picked up some cheap crazy printed rain boots.
Ebay has been my best friend when it comes to maternity clothing. I just can't justify spending $40-50 on a pair of pants or a blouse that I will most likely not fit into in a couple of months.

With the same coupon, I also got her 2/$10 onesides at Old Navy for 2/$7 instead.
I just totally went on there and got one for my LO. If I have a girl, I can always dress it up with frilly pants/skirt. I think it is hilarious !

I bought this dress with the Gap G&G. It was $28
I love it. It hugs and hides all the right things.

Yes! Awesome! Did you see the Hippototamus stuff? There is some seriously adorable girl clothing. I *almost* bought some for our future daughter lol.
Yes ! It was soooo tempting to buy some stuff. I rationalized the onsie b/c it could be made more girl-ish. I don't want to be buying any really gender specific stuff just yet. My luck would be that I would drop a boat load on the girl stuff & end up with a boy. Plus, with my closet/clothing hoarding issues, I don't know where I would store any stuff for a "possible" future LO.

haha yeah. DH and I bought two sun dresses when we were in London in September. This was before we knew if LO was a boy or girl and DH was convinced it was girl. So we have those, but that's it so they don't take up much room. I'm tempted often by cute little girl stuff but so far I've been able to talk myself out of actually buying any of it.
