DH and I are looking to buy a really sturdy, nice offset/cantilever umbrella for our deck. We had a gazebo on it last year and loved it, but the wind killed it within one season. We're thinking a really nice offset umbrella will achieve the same goal, but we want something not skimpy, and we're willing to spend $500+ to get a nice one that will last a long time.
Where would I shop for something like this? Home Depot, Lowes, etc., don't have the quality we want for something to last. And I'm not up on furniture stores that much in the Cities besides the Room and Board outlet.
This is a cantilever umbrella, for reference: http://tinyurl.com/4zugbo5
Re: Where to buy patio furniture?
We saw one at the Room & Board outlet last spring and it looked like a good quality, sturdy umbrella.
We bought our patio set at Seasonal Concepts 5 years ago and it still looks like new (which actually sucks because my tastes have changed). This was before they became part of Home, though, so I don't know what their quality is like now.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
I was at Costco about 3 weeks ago and they had an umbrella like that.
