Although, when not rooting for UMD, I root for UNC and Duke...my family hails from NC for 6 generations. My Dad migrated north, met my mom, married and stayed in MD - but pretty much all of my other family still lives there...so I consider NC my second "home" state!!
Yay! My oldest nephew is attending Drexel now! He entered as a freshman at 17, and is a 19 year old Junior now...he and all of his brothers are brainiacs - I guess it didn't hurt having a teacher for a mom!
He loves it is doing well - I can't believe he'll be graduating next year...I so feel like it was only yesterday when I was holding him in the hospital the day he was born :-)
