Weds. Weight Loss Check-in
I have a meeting this morning from 8-1 (UGH!!) So I have to post and run but I'll check back later.
I gained .4 this week. I already knew it was going to suck. I ate like CRAP this week. I had a lot going on, and plus had my period so that probably had some impact. My goal was to get out on walks more too. I think I went on 1 walk (on saturday) and although it was longer than usual, it didn't make up for the lack of walking on other days.
Oh well, up and on to the next week!
How is everyone else doing?
Re: Weds. Weight Loss Check-in
I weigh in on Mondays and as of two days ago, I hadn't lost anything from last week. Understandable, since this past weekend I had a party and threw caution to the wind. Then was hungover and had to nurse it w/ more bad food.
I need to change my weigh in days, b/c after the weekend seems to be the worst time for me.
My "official" weigh-in for myself is on Thursdays, so I have until tomorrow, but I've been cheating and weighing myself in between too. In the four weeks since I've started tracking my weight loss, I've lost 9 pounds. I lost 3 pounds the first week, 1.8 pounds the second week, .3 pounds the third week when I was on my period, and 4 pounds so far this week. Since H and I bought our treadmill, I've been using that for a half hour every day combined with 15-20 minutes of stretching, crunches, toning excercises, etc. I'm starting to really notice a difference!
As far as my diet, I strongly felt that I ate very healthy already before starting to lose some weight. I have been keeping a closer eye on my calorie count and have been a little better about snacking, but no real major changes in the types or amount of food I eat. I just needed to add in a little more excercise!
I did not go to the gym Monday or Tuesday, but I broke my a$$ Saturday and Sunday doing yardwork for two and a half hours each day. So I'm back to zumba today, my sculpting class tomorrow, treadmill Friday, then manual house labor Saturday and Sunday.
Days I don't make it to the gym, I eat much worse too. Grrrrrr.
well my weigh in day for WW is fridays. last week i only lost .25 and that was after GAINING 1 lb the week before. but since friday i have been doing really well, making smart and healthy decisions, working out, etc. i cant weigh in this week as i will be in boston working, but next week i hope to see the scale move DOWN. i feel really good about this so far.
and even for room service today i had a fruit and low fat yogurt smoothie made with honey and then i ordered a bowl of local berries for my morning snack. i am having a salad for lunch and then for dinner i do have a cocktail hour today (hello bacon wrapped scallops and wine!) but then for actual dinner i am just having a beet salad
thinking positive!
citygirl, GOOD FOR YOU, almost 10 lbs!!

I suck! I haven't lost anything, but then again I haven't tried. I ran twice last week but that's it.
Why is it so hard to lose weight? It's so easy to pack the pounds, but so hard to lose them. Someone please kick my a$$ in gear.
Thanks! I'm kicking my own butt with the treadmill lately and it's helping ALOT. It's never been easy for me to lose weight but I never tried running before. I guess it's the boost I needed! I'm trying to be good about stretching excercises beforehand, etc., and should probably break it up somehow with swimming or something else so I don't overdo it.
