I have had a cold/sinus issues since last friday. I had gotten in the habit of not taking anything through my pregnancy & while I was nursing that our house doesn't have any cold meds in it right now. I have a slight sore throat (from sinus drainage), stuffy nose, and a cough that comes and goes (it is a dry cough). What meds work for you guys? Or do you have any home remedies that work? I am really ready to be over this!
(yes, I should probably suck it up and go to the doctor)

Re: recommend your meds
do you have a humidifier? TOTALLY helps! And is good for the little guy too!!
I LOVE Advil Cold & Sinus! As well as Advil Decongestent.
Alcaseltzer (sp?) is awesome too! and it tastes good!
I took MrsTice's advice and took the shot of apple cider vinegar and it worked okay.My symptoms were terrible so I wasn't expecting a miracle. I couldn't even taste or smell an onion! I ended up going to Campbell's and one of the employees led me to the most spectacular nose spray I've ever used. It's NurtiBiotic Nasal Spray Plus with Grapefruit Seed Extract. It actually helps to neutralize yeast in the nasal passages, which is a big reason a lot of people have sinus issues. Who knew?! So, this is what I do: Neti Pot 3 times/day and then 2-3 squirts of the nasal spray. I'm breathing clearly and I feel a million times better!
