Shove it. 2 hours to get in on a complete sheet of ice that was literally 20 miles long. I didn't know it was possible.I don't look forward to going home in this. Snow - You look amazing and pretty, but I was looking forward to dusting off my bike this week and cleaning up the yard.

Dear Co-Worker and Co-Worker's Wife,
I know you make at least $80k a year. If you cannot afford to buy your two children food and toilet paper, you do not deserve to take vacations and buy a house that costs half a million dollars. It irks me even more because you already have a house you paid a quarter of a million for and "it's not good enough." I'm sorry, but your children should not be saying "Daddy, I'm hungry! Please feed me," when you make as much as you do. Feeding your children trumps buying a new house and going on vacation, every single time. If you cannot save money for a downpayment on your half a million dollar house AND feed your children, you have no business buying a new house. Get your priorities straight before I call social services.

Dear co-workers,
I know you're just trying to prove how hard working you are when you go above and beyond, but all it does for me is prove that you can't follow direction. I don't like having to clean up after you. Focus on doing the task at hand. Once you can do that properly and in a decent timeframe, then maybe we'll talk about you going the extra mile. When you go the extra mile and slack off on your regular duties, it might look awesome to the person you went the extra mile for, but it doesn't look good to the people running the department.
