I'm not so sure about the good part, but whatever.
First and foremost happy birthdayfofirthday to mandeefofandee!
Second I'm home for the rest of the week, but I have to go to university later, Sean has to drive me there and then possibly pick me up of one of my friends can't take me home. Today is also the visit where our worker brings a placement worker with her. Normally I would be excited but given how things have been going in my life since November 7th I'm going to have to go ahead and say I'm not.
I'm giving myself today to sit around, watch bad tv, and mope. Tomorrow I'm going to try to be productive with university stuff and finish my portfolio by the end of the weekend. hopefully anyway. We shall see.

MO, I'm so sorry for everything that's going on. You totally deserve today to mope.
I couldn't sleep last night so I've been up for a while. This morning is Mark's Grandma's funeral. Luckily, they didn't give me a hard day about needing today off but I feel bad because we are really understaffed and overwhelmed at work.
Other than that, we have the luncheon after and then private burial. Hopefully later tonight I will get a chance to work on some of competencies for work. And hopefully I sleep better tonight.
MO- again I am so sorry. If anyone deserves happiness in their life, it is you! Big hugs.

Not much going on for me. I am having yet another focus day at work, working a few extra hours, then heading home to spend the evening with the boys. Today is DH's first day on the floor he will be working on at the hospital. However it is a 12 hour shift, so who knows when I will see him tonight.

Today is gonna be a good day here. I'm volunteering all day at a home for low-income seniors. I'm pretty sure we're mostly going to be writing wills and that sort of thing, which I've never done before. They have training beforehand, so I'm looking forward to learning about this area of law that I've never done before. Plus, helping individuals isn't something I get to do all that often in my job. I mostly work for larger companies, so this will be nice change.

I'm totally overwhelmed at work. My principal is at a meeting today to see if I get to keep my job here; my student teacher is kinda sucking; I have social work coming in today to talk to one of the grade 9s who I'm pretty sure is getting verbally abused at home. She came to talk to me last night and I cried buckets afterward. Her mum and sister are both bi-polar, Dad's on contract for work in Iraq and sister got married (after getting KU) to a total dickwad who they're SPONSORING and therefore finanically responsible for his lazyass. I seriously wanna punch this guy in the junk for what he's put my student through. Basically, since her mum and sister are mentally unbalanced, BIL plays video games all day and my student is left to take care of her less-than-a-year-old cousin.

unfortunately, I'm working today. boo. but then we're going out to my favorite local restaurant with all of my family... should be about 17 of us, so I'm excited to see everyone.
also, I'm at CD26 and have had no pms symptoms, and my temp is still pretty high... higher than normal actually. trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm thinking we may have got our timing right. we shall see!

I'm at work. Most of my office is out of town today for a meeting so I'm hoping it will be nice and quiet and I'll get a lot accomplished. On my walk in this morning I saw a fire in campustown, just a few blocks from my office. It had started just shortly before I got there as there were still fire trucks making their way in. The reports are still sketchy but it sounds like it started above one of my favorite campus restaurants. This definitely makes me sad.

I'm pretty sure my body is still trying to get back on track with reality since vacation. I haven't been sleeping well and am feeling quite bleh. Work is crazy this week thanks to having a new format for open house this weekend. In better news, I have an interview in 2 weeks, so hopefully this will be the last of the craziness, but my hopes aren't up too high. I'm not exactly hiding the baby at this point, and even though they can't discriminate, there's nothing saying they won't.
Hopefully everyone has a much better end to this week with a great weekend in site.

Good Morning Ladies.
Today is a craptastic day weather wise. Thanks to my 2.5 hour commute to work this morning I was an hour late. Everyone is very easy going here so it isn't a big deal but I HATE being late. I really hope this is our last snowfall because 90+ inches is enough and I am ready for spring.
I got nothing but cooking dinner and laundry done last night and if our commute is anything like it was this morning I will probably not get much done tonight either so Thursday and Friday we will be cleaning. My mom and little sisters come in on Saturday and I can't wait to see them. This will be the first time they see the house and I haven't seen them since Christmas so I am so excited!
