Couple Easter related questions ....
1. I was thinking about getting a nicer easter basket that I could continue to use for Gabrielle through-out the years. Anyone have any recommendations on where to get said basket? If I remember correctly, doesn't a nestie's family member make baskets for etsy?
2. What kind of things would you put in a 6 month olds Easter basket? Right now I'm thinking sun-tan lotion, new onsies rolled up, couple little toys, and sun bonnet. Anything else good?
Re: Easter Baskets
a book. All we gave J her first Easter was a book & stuffed toy (that's what N is getting this year) and we added little toys and some m&ms last year and this year, she'll find eggs with some candy.
Amy's mother has an etsy shop for baskets - new window clicky
1. Amy's mom (artsake) has an etsy site -- jasperjane -- I totally want several of her baskets, but deciding on where I will put them, first. They are beautiful!
2. Snacks that she likes, stuffed animal/blankie, age-appropriate toys, teethers...
Thanks for the ideas!!
I LOVE this idea ... both the books and the mini-eggs for mommy and daddy
Oh and thanks for the link to the etsy site .. that's what I was thinking. She actually already has "easter baskets" listed on the site:

Do you think is big enough? Also, somewhat silly question ... would you get a second one for the possible second child if you planned on continuing to use them?
Make a pregnancy ticker
yup! that's my mommy!
the ones in the photo are actually the ones we have for cass. i think they're the perfect size, but we don't go nuts with candy and stuff.
i know she can also make them bigger if you prefer and with whatever colors you would like. some of the other ones like the jeremiah, japanese weave, gathering, and majestic mountain baskets are all bigger if you like those sizes and the same goes for the color choices and accents.
yay! thanks for forwarding on the info, ladies!
Christmas tree shop has some nice cloth lined ones for around $5. We let DD pick out which one she wanted. Also pottery barn kids has easter baskets (you could probably get them on sale after easter).
i am putting bubbles, books, piggy paint, and some sticker activity thing in P's basket.
last year my mom did her basket which had puffs, yogurt melts, a book, a bunny, and an outfit.
i meant to add my parents never did the easter egg hunt thing. they always hid our baskets in the house somewhere and we would have to search for them in the morning. sometimes under the sink, in the tub, or in the stove... One year the easter bunny wrote me a note and i brought it to school to show everyone :-) lol
I was thinking the same thing. Why buy a cheapo basket every year when you can just buy one and use it every year!
I am thinking for Liza I will do: sunglasses, ball, puzzle, maybe a new pretty dress, and socks or something.
I think I'll skip the stuffed animals as I am sure someone else will give her one.
