    I'm snacking on triscuits right now because I have to slowly cut down my calories rather than do it drastically, apparently.

    Why do you have to cut down your calories?  I always thought breastfeeding used a ton of calories????  I am glad I am learning this now!  ha ha ha.

    Yep! 

    Why do you have to cut down your calories?  I always thought breastfeeding used a ton of calories????  I am glad I am learning this now!  ha ha ha.  

    Because my stomach is still so fat. 

    If one more person tells me "BF-ing is the best diet" I will punch them in the nose and break it. 

    It does burn about 500 cals a day but you have to eat to maintain supply. And DS eats. A lot. He ate over 30 oz of BM a day when I was in Boston last week. 

    The rest of my weight has come off, but my stomach is disgusting and I am feeling extremely down about myself as a result. 

  • Punky, FWIW, you looked fantastic when I saw you.  I meant to tell you that but forgot; honestly, I never would have guessed that you'd just had a baby if I didn't know.  I didn't detect any kind of pouch.

    I went to a new dumpling place in Chinatown with a friend.  It was really good and the dumplings and noodle soup we had really hit the spot on a cold day.

    injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
    Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
    one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
    EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13

    As long as I'm dressed, I look great for having had a baby! LOL. It's the upcoming swimsuit season that is freaking me out. And DS starts swim lessons this summer and I can't exactly throw him into the pool by himself and sit on the sidelines.

  • It's been a crappy day, so I had a fancy grilled cheese at Finale. And it was awesome.

    Though I'm quite looking forward to the bottle of wine I plan on drinking for dinner.

  • Yesterday was the same as today:

    Pinapple chobani, a mango, special k cracker chips (or whatever they're called), and a rice krispie treat? and a coffee....coworker and i ran to dunkin to get out of the building for a break <3 welcome to day two (yesterday) and day 3 of weight watchers.....LOL

  • I am super excited because the soup place across the street from my work has twice baked potato soup today. They have it like once every couple of weeks and it's my fav!

    That sounds really good! I was never big on soup unless I'm sick (and then it's chicken noodle only), but recently, I can't seem to get enough. I hit up ABP like once a week now.
