WTF Wednesday
I feel like I need these way too much.
WTF, I was in a car accident yesterday. I was hit from behind at a stoplight and launched into the car in front of me. My air bags were deployed and I was taken to the hospital with severe neck pain and a raging headache. Everything checked out okay, but I am currently at home with lots of neck pain, muscle relaxers and pain medicine. My poor car was leaking all over the road and I have no idea what it even really looks like because I was in a daze. I found out that the guy who hit me got a ticket, but he apparently didn't think it was important enough to call his insurance before I called mine this morning, so now I am waiting to hear back from them.
I was so scared because I've never been in an accident where my air bags went off and I seriously thought my car was smoking, but it was just the smoke from the air bags. It's crazy to think how everything changes in a few seconds. All I was thinking about was going to buy dog food and going home, then my car was trashed and I was in an ambulance. It makes me even more thankful for everything in my life and all the people in it, including you wonderful ladies.

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry that you're feeling so sore and beat up right now, but also glad that it wasn't worse - car accidents are so scary. And how right you are...one minute, life can be normal, and the next...
I guess I don't have a really good WTF (although the day is still young!), but please know that you're in my thoughts and that there are plenty of good vibes headed your way :-)
OMG! I am so sorry that happened to you.
I hope you feel better really quickly.
DH had a similar accident when we first started dating. He was in his car on the way to work and someone ran a stop light and hit another car which then hit him. It ripped the whole front off his car (so you can tell the guy was going wayyyy to fast).
Definitely take it easy and don't push yourself too hard.

My WTF = I'm home sick today which I never ever do. I rarely get sick and when I do I tend to just power through and go to work. But I don't have a lot going on and I don't want to get anyone else sick so I'm home, and I feel like I'm doing something wrong even though I'm not.
@waltzingmatilda13 - OMG I'm so sorry this happened to you. I'm glad that you are essentially ok minus some horrible soreness! Tons of vibes that your back to your old self asap!!

@Liz: that totally sucks!! It sucks that people don't pay attention when they drive! Hopefully you can recover quickly and don't end up with a lot of residual pain after this!
WTF is up with the 4.5 inches of snow we got last night and it's still snowing!! We also had thunder and lightening last night during the snow storm!
YTF do humane societies charge an arm and leg to adopt an animal? I get the fee to a point but I think more people would adopt if it wasn't so pricey!

WTF we have 100% property inspections tomorrow and Friday and its going to be like 40 degrees walking in and out of every unit all day both days (90 apts). Where is that gorgeous 70 deg weather we had last Friday??

Here I thought I had a pretty good WTF this week and now mine seems like nothing! DH had a blow out and we have to replace a tire which just sucks but it could be worse... and then the hinge on our laptop broke so we have to send it in to the manufacturer to have it fixed which means no computer for about 10 to 12 days which sucks because that is how I get jobs as a sub!! So now we may be buying another computer even though we just bought this one 3 1/2 months ago!! Not part of our expected budget and definitely cutting into our anniversary money!!
Liz, I'm glad you weren't hurt worse. Hopefully everything will turn out ok and you will be feeling better quickly.
YTF can't I find the motivation to apply for more jobs?! The job I have right now is only a temp job (no end date given) and I really don't think I want to work there permanetly (sp?). I am already bored with what I am doing and I've only been there a month.
WTF is up with this crazy weather? The past few days temps have been in the 70s & 80s (sorry girls that got snow) and now it's supposed to get down in the 30s tonight. I want spring weather darn it!!!!!!!!!!
