Electrician help??
So, we bought a ceiling fan for LO's room. I thought it'd be super easy to put up. However, there are so many wires that we aren't sure what to do with them all. We're afraid if we attach them like we think we should, it'll be wrong and we'll have to undo it or even worse, cause a fire.
For example....we want the light to be linked to a switch and the fan to another switch so it says there are 2 black wires and one is an independent wire. WTF does that mean?! lol
Anyone or their hubby good with this kind of stuff? My Mom's bf is an electrician but he's in NY! BOO!

DH just installed all new ceiling fans in our house....But we did have an electrician come over to check out separate outlet in our house recently...I'll have to ask him what the company was.
Sounds like we have a volunteer... LOL!
