Help me before I lose my mind!

My husband and I just bought a house with almost all tile and laminate floors. I just purchased a steam mom (a Haan) but I need something to vacuum with. Our regular vacuum does not get low enough to the ground. I am so tired of sweeping 2 times a day!

Anyone have a vacuum recomendation for hard floors? I bought a Bona dry mop with the microfiber cloth for light dirt but I need something a little more heavy duty.

Thanks ladies. Smile

  • canister vacuums work great for hard floors. They have attachments specifically for them. We have a Kenmore that we love.

  • I had the same problem and switched to using a Swiffer instead of a regular broom.  It works a treat.

I have a Bissell Pet Vacuum, and LOVE it because it has different settings for all levels of flooring. From bare floors up to thick carpets. (Not sure if the other Bissells have that feature, but it's something to look for even if you don't need the Pet version). I can change the setting from carpet to the tile floor with ease and it picks up great from all levels of the flooring.
