Calm before the storm?

I can't believe we're getting 3-5 inches tonight. It looks eerie outside.

And DS has been SO good today. He took a nice long morning nap. He played by himself on the floor, chatting with Buzz Lightyear, and is now bouncing happily in his jumperoo. Something is up, I tell you! Haha

Re: Calm before the storm?

  • You guys have had the worst winter.
  • That's for sure. BTW, I like your blue pic. You stand out with that color!
  • Really????  I had no idea.

Ditto this!  I didn't know we were supposed to get real snow!  Aaaargh!!!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Now DS, who has been refusing naps for weeks, is napping again. What an odd day!

N is not a good napper. Or a good bottle eater. Last night he screamed his freaking HEAD off while Dh tried putting him to bed. He was happy as a clam once Dh forked him over to me and fell asleep after 3 gulps.

  • This weather does feel ominous. It had finally felt like spring, now it's back to cold, dreary, bitter winter. My students have been out of sorts as well, however not in such positive ways!

Has his night sleep deteriorated as well? J's certainly has. The last 2 nights he has only been up twice a night, and it has been heavenly compared to the 5+ times a night we've had the last two weeks.

Hmm. Well bedtime is kind of a joke this week. He nurses, sleeps, then I put him down, he wakes up mad as hell until I shove a paci in his mouth, he clamps down and passes out. This is new. He has not wanted a paci in....nearly  2 months.

He is now sleeping in 12 hours shifts and waking up 2x to eat, which is normal. so generally he sleeps 9-2 then 245-6 or 7 then another hour after he eats then (sometimes). This morning he slept straight up until 8 so he stayed awake.
