Wowza! I have mixed feelings here... On one hand thats fantastic that she would jump right in to save her dog without hesitation. On the other hand, why wasnt he leashed?? Yikes!

(I must have issues too because I keep getting distracted by the fact that she's wearing a Lakers jersey. I can only hope that someone took it off and gave it to her to wear. Not that I have a problem with the Lakers, but I do have a problem with girls wearing jerseys at non-sporting events, especially basketball jerseys. Yes, I'm judegemental about jerseys and I won't hide it!).
bwahahaha yes, i noticed the jersey too! i have a wierd hatred for bball jerseys...and on girls too. i guess the good thing is that it fit her? i mean, it's not like meant for a 6ft tall guy. who knows.
H has a football jersey collection. it drives me nuts. he also thinks that they are like normal shirts...that he can just throw one on it february and head to the bar/store/dinner/anywhere. good thing he's only 26. he has an age limit on this action.
and yeah...i have issue with this who situation. no clue why her pup wasn't on a leash, but i have a feeling it's one of those things that could happen to anyone too. there are times i let me pup out without a leash...he usually cooperates, but it just takes that one time when he doesnt..
I have a freak accident fear so I'm always leashing my friends dog that she lets roam free. I should send her this link!
Now, back to the jerseys. haha! My H is only allowed to wear jerseys on the day that they play. Like he can wear an Ohio State Jersey all day on Saturday during football season b/c they actually play that day. Otherwise, no jersey for him. Good thing for me that he's a rule follower, even with rules that I make up and tell him are actual rules.
Oh, and I love that I spelled judgemental incorrectly. That's what I get for being a brat!

H got the new Columbus Blue Jackets 3rd jersey for xmas. it's neat i guess. it'd would look great all framed up in a nice jersey frame and stuffed in the back of my closet. it is the most UNFLATTERING article of clothing that my H owns and he's always trying to wear it somewhere. we'll be like meeting up with friends for drinks somewhere and he'll come out of the bedroom with it on. i mean!?! i have used about 12 different excuses for him to change, and thankfully he has. it borderlines on embarassing.
these stupid jerseys are part of the reason for H's need for a large basement. he thinks he's going to frame them all up and hang them all over the man cave. dear lord...kill me.
hahaha! You know what else bothers me - girl jerseys that are pink! Um...hello...that's not even your team colors!!
Oh, and plush my H is so small that even small jeresys are gigantic on him. I've tried to explain that a normal tshirt with the logo looks way better, but I don't want to take away his manhood all the way. I do have limits on my brattiness.
Wow that's incredible.... I'm not sure how I would have reacted in that situation.
On a side note, my little friend's name is Brady and I call him Boogie as a nickname!

when i was in college, they started making our college t-shirts in like a gazillion colors (hot pink, green, blue, yellow). i mean!?! our colors were red and white. why is that hard? SUPER huge pet peeve of mine. the colors are there for a REASON. gah!

Ugh... there is a reason there are leash law. I love my dog like a child and if she got out of her leash and jumped into the Hudson River I'd be hysterical. Like get the men in the white suits hysterical, but I'd never endanger myself or my potential rescuers to save her.
I can say this b/c I had something like this happen to her. When I first started using the halti she could get her head out of it. She got out of it and made a bee line for a stick a kid had just thrown into a resevoir. She jumped off an overhang into the into the reservoir. It was the first time she was ever in deep water and she was freaking out. She just kept splashing and flailing. I was hysterical but there was no way I was going it after her b/c I was afraid of me going over the damn. I mean my heart was skipping beats left and right. She eventually got her swim down and made it back to the shore. I dont even take her to that park anymore b/c it freaked me out so much.
