netflix

How quickly do you watch your movie once you receive it?  I love that there is no rush because there are no late fees or anything.  DH is always trying to rush to watch the movie.  As soon as we get a new DVD he is like "Okay put it on now!"  Ha ha ha.  It drives me crazy.

Re: netflix

  • It depends. Sometimes immediately, but once we had a movie for TWO MONTHS without watching it. I finally returned it without seeing it. I've since watched it on HBO and loved it, too.
  • It depends on what it is (so how excited we are to watch it) and how busy we are.

  • Depends on our availability. If it's a movie that DH wanted to see, I wait until he's home on the weekend. Chick flicks can be watched within the day it arrives if I have time! Longest we've kept it has been a little over a week (close to 2 weeks)- I figured if we haven't watched it, we must not be that into it and will mail it back.

My DH does the same thing!! Like we're in some contest to see how many movies we can watch.  ha ha- he also gets annoyed if we've watched it and I forget to drop it in the mail.  If we haven't watched it in a week, he'll drop it in the mail without us even having opened it because "we obviously don't want to see it that bad" lol

Ha ha ha.  My H has yet to send back something we have not watched, but he hounds me until we watch.  Then as soon as we watch he rushed it out to our mailbox.  Like last night we watched a movie, and right after he ran down our driveway to the mail!

  • I actually got rid of my account because we never watched the movies. DH and I work opposite schedules so we never have time to sit down and watch a movie together and if I got something he wanted to watch and watched it without him he would get mad. lol

  • Oh god, I hang on to them forever.  It's such a waste of money.

My husband and I each have an account (he had his own before he moved in, and decided to keep it rather than merge the 8 trillion movies he has in his queue), and he's terrible. He got some ridonkulous movie in June, and he still had it when we moved.  In December. In fact, I'm not entirely sure he's sent it back yet.

We mostly use it for streaming now, so we really should just get rid of one of the accounts.

  • Lets put it this way, I have had Sex and the City 2 since it actually came out on DVD, and I just sent it back yesterday (meaning I watched it Sunday night). Stick out tongue
