Well, this is embarrassing...
My office was doing the paperwork for my new contract (no raise!) and she pointed out my last name on my SS card and license don't match! I don't think I ever noticed before. Normally when people misspell my married name, they ADD a letter to it. In this case, they just switched the places of two letters.
Now I have to go home and check. I'm hoping I can mail it in and they'll fix it.
My deal is that I am going to murder your puppies and piss on your rainbows.

Well that sucks! You made me think of something though.
Did anyone elses drivers license number change? Mine used to start with H-640 for my maiden name. When I got my license changed it obviously has my new last name, but the first three numbers are now 340. The rest of the number is exactly the same as before. I'm just wondering if it was supposed to happen or if its a typo. Probably something I should have looked into.

lol. Jen how long have you had your license? And which one is spelled wrong? the SS or the license?
Nicole, I had my driver's license number change with my last name. I didn't complain. It wiped my driving record clean

I had my SS card since October. That's the one that's wrong. They mixed up an "ei" and put it as "ie" - easy to do and apparently easy to not notice! I was so happy they didn't add an N to the name like people usually do! And of course the DMV didn't notice when they checked for my new license.
Nicole, mine changed - at least the first letter. I don't know how much of it changed/stayed the same.
