I need makeup help. I am like the anti-woman, I suck at all things beauty related. I need a good foundation that covers well because I have rosacea. My skin is very sensitive and Bare Minerals irritates it like crazy (and that stuff is supposed to be good for sensitive skin!) I did love how you apply the Bare Minerals so something similar would be nice. Right now I am using liquid but it still doesn't seem to cover enough. I also need a good concealer for under eye circles. And maybe an eyeshadow that stays put. Right now I just use cheapo drugstore stuff but am willing to pay more to find something better. I just don't want to spend a lot of money on something that won't work. Any other recommendations would be great. TIA!

Re: Recommend your makeup
I go to Radiant Complexions dermatology for my acne and they have a mineral make-up they sell. They make the base specifically for you and then they have blushes/bronzers/eye-shawdows. I also have super sensitive skin and almost everything causes break-outs, including some sensitive skin moisturizers.
I LOVE my Smashbox mascara and Buxom eyeliner.
I wear fairly neutral colors. I can't rec a foundation, I'm struggling with that right now too.
For eyeshadow, I just bought the Urban Decay Naked Palette and LOVE it. Lots of options, nice pigmentation, and with the primer, it lasts alllll day.
I love Benefit Erase Paste for under-eye concealor. I've never met its equal.
Honestly? If you're not used to makeup and don't know what you'd like, I'd go to Sephora some weeknight (it's zoo-y in there on weekends) and just ask them to show you stuff. That way you have a huge selection of brands and they can recommend things specific to your skin/tastes/etc.
I used MAC for years, but just recently changed. I went to Sephora (twice, actually), and they suggested different foundations to try. I ended up with a Lorac liquid and a Korres mineral powder, and I love them.
Like PP said, I would go to Sephora during the week, and let them put some on you. Then you can wear it all day to see if you like the way it looks at the end of the day.
