Greetings from our new home!!
The move went pretty smoothly yesterday. The movers we hired were excellent. This was our second time using them; V hired them when he moved into my place 2 years ago. It did take a little longer than I anticipated because (a) it turns out we have more stuff than I thought, and (b) we actually ran out of packing boxes, so some of our stuff ended up in bags and other small containers so they took longer to move. But still, they were well, well worth the money.
We also had the house painted before we moved in and I'm THRILLED how the colours turned out! I'm so happy that this place instantly felt like home once we got our stuff in. I'll post pics soon - no more Pepto pink! We spent the first night on our old bed in the guest bedroom, but today we're getting our new bed delivered. Huzzah!
Today, other than waiting for the furniture, I'll be cleaning, grocery shopping, and going back to the condo to pick up a few random things we left behind.

Exciting!!! I love the "first night in the new house" feeling!! I'm spending the morning browsing for jobs online, and then I am going to use a friend's embroidery machine to make hats for the guys on the softball team. Josh ordered these awful old man hats (The ones with the mesh back, white front, and a rope across the bill) because they all think they are SO cool. I'm humoring him. Haha!
I have Saturday off, which I am pumped about. We're going to see a friend's band play at a local cajun food place. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and it's a patio bar, so I am pumped!

Ringy - yay for being moved in! So exciting.
Not much for me this weekend. DH won't be home from work until probably after 8 tonight. Tomorrow he is going snow boarding since he hasn't been able to go all season, and it is getting close to the end for ski season here. Then Sunday DH is working again, so where does that leave me? At home all weekend with the boys, cleaning if they let me.

Nothing much going on today--just getting through the workday, then hitting the gym when we get home. We'll probably order out for dinner and then sleep in both Saturday and Sunday to make up for last weekend's craziness. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I do have to do my final long run before the 10 mile race a week from Sunday.

I had unexpected guests show up last night. My mom, sister and BIL all showed up at my house. My sister and BIL are leaving for Florida today and needed to leave their dog with someone. My mom volunteered so they decided to meet at my house to make the exchange. We ordered a bunch of pizza and enjoyed spending a couple of hours together before everyone had to head back home.
This weekend I don't have any major plans. I have a friend coming up tomorrow night and we're going out to dinner. Otherwise, I hope to cook, clean, watch some basketball and catch up on my sleep.

So, today I am asking for a raise. I am so freaking nervous but, I am just not bringing in enough money. It is not like we are spending money willy-nilly....we aren't, just the cost to live is more expensive than anticipated. So if anyone could spare some vibes or thoughts it would be much appreciated. Other than that I am really looking forward to the weekend, having some down time will be great.
Can't wait to see pics of the new place Ringy, especially minus the pepto-pink. MO, hopefully your docs can cut the crap and dope you up already. A good weekend of couch time is well deserved.
I'll be all over campus today moving tables and setting up for a ginormous open house. I love that we do these all the time and people still don't seem to know how to do their jobs. I can't wait for this weekend to be over.
Tonight I'm going to a jewelry party at my cousin's house and enjoying some family time, and then work and sleep the rest of the weekend.

Tonight some friends are coming over to watch Inception and tomorrow night the museum here is hosting a "dans le moment" event with can can dancers, french music and drinks for the Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit. I'm a museum nerd so I'm excited to be in a museum until midnight

no big plans this weekend - dropping the Tundra off for maintenance in Annapolis tomorrow, so we may grab some lunch up there. I need to get my nails done also, they are lookin' rough.
we're going to be cleaning maniacs around the house this weekend... it's spring break for me so it's the first weekend in a while that I don't have major homework to do. we have three pieces of furniture to put together too - a bookshelf, a dining buffet, and an entry bench. should be... interesting. haha
still no signs of AF showing up - had some slight cramping yesterday, but it didn't feel like AF cramps, so I'm not sure what's going on in there. technically, I could test tomorrow... if FF is right about my O date, tomorrow will make for 10dpo. I'm waiting until Sunday so it's CD30, since that's my avg cycle length. fingers and toes crossed!

Good evening.
I'm pretty grumpy today. After work I went to the gym and only managed about half an hour on the elliptical before I got so annoyed that I just came home. Tonight we will just watch tv.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to get in a long run, despite the cold and I work Sunday.
Hi ladies! I'm waiting for Manuel to get home so we can go have dinner. After that we're going to the mall to look for a gift for my niece.
Tomorrow we are baptising my niece and Manuel and I are the godparents. I'm so happy my brother asked us. The ceremony is at 9 so we have to be up early. My mom is hosting breakfast at her house after the church. We don't have plans for the rest of the day but I hope to get some R&R.
Sunday no plans except we may go return some duplicate gifts we've gotten for the baby. I also hope to get some rest and write thank you cards from our baby shower.
