has a boyfriend.
She came home from school on Wednesday saying she wanted to have a play date at the little boys house. I asked if they had become friends in class and she said " Yes, we play in the kitchen and he asked me to be his girlfriend. That means he's my boyfriend, I love him "
Kailey never went through this at Brooke's age....and still hasn't. Half of me thinks it cute/funny, and the other half is a little panicked.
Re: My 5 year old......
That's so cute!
I wouldn't panic just yet, though! I bet their relationship is based on something like their mutual love of fake cooking! My niece has declares she will marry a boy she knows because they're both crazy about Super Mario "on the Wii." And she says that when you get to high school you kiss boys. My sister was a little freaked out about that until we realized that it's a good thing that my niece thinks that's ALL high school girls do with boys!
That's very cute...
Yes, definitely innocent, and really cute.
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller
