Photog Book
What's the name of that photog book that everyone recommends for those beginners trying to understand photography better? Understanding Aperture (I thought - but can't find it)? BTW we have a Nikon D40 in case that matters.

Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. I have a Nikon D60, which is almost exactly the same as the D40, so we can ask each other, if need be. :-)

Yes, Understanding Exposure (which is very informative!). Speaking of, I really need to dig out the book and re-read it, I could use a refresher.
I also did the 2 peas 12 weeks to better photography and I learned a ton!
I have the D40 too, and so far I have no complaints

I checked the link I posted and, unless I missed it, it actually didn't have the 2 peas class linked. There was a link to some other articles and lessons on 2 peas, but not the 12-week class. I found it here.
If anyone's interested. we could try doing this class here together? With a weekly check-in? LMK

Okey dokey, then, let's do it.
Is a Tuesday check-in OK? Mondays are tough for me. I think most of us would need the weekend to do the assignments, then Monday to download and organize, Tuesday check-in? We could do lesson one this by this coming Tuesday, probably in the afternoon if that's OK.
