Let's talk bathing suits.
I'm starting to look for bathing suits and like always, I'll probably go for a tankini. I'm leaning towards this one from Lands End in the Petunia Rose Paisley. I haven't ever ordered a suit from LE....In your experience, do they run true to size? Like if I would normally buy size 10 tops, do I need to order a size 10? The reviews on the site are mixed on running big/small. I wear a 36 full C if that matters in your recommendation.
What suits are you loving this season?

Re: Let's talk bathing suits.
What kind of suits do I love this season....hmm the ones I will not be able to fit into. I will have to do with a small tent for a bathing suit this summer. Actually I have a few Lands End ones that have some extra room in them, and some from when I was heavier that might get me through the first few months.
The two Lands End ones I have I am not sure what to say. I normally have to wear a 12 or 14 on top solely for my boobs. They are a 16 (because my mom ordered them for herself and she always order things larger) and they fit my boobs perfectly but are quite large around my waist. This is also why I can wear them pregnant. I would say you will probably be okay with a 10 but really safe with a 12. I think bathing suits also run small personally.

I like that suit. I find LE runs true to size. Do you have a sears near you? You can return stuff in store for free there, then if you're iffy, just order 2 sizes and return which doesn't work.
Also there are always free shipping codes out there.
ETA: I just got an email from them for their swim sale, here's the code
Promotion Code SPRINGSALE and PIN 1243 in the space provided.
Also peruse their LE canvas line, I love it!

Oh and I got a cute polka dot one at Target back in Feb and it fit me well and held up my 38C girls w/o the little strap they give you.

I do not understand that either but I was telling Ben that I will definitely have to buy a maternity bathing suit when we go to the beach late this summer when I am 7 months along. He said, as long as I do not spend $100. I told him, at that point, I am allowed to spend as much as it takes to make me feel cute in a bathing suit at that point. Especially since it will be with my family and all my cousins who are already tiny little size 2 and 4s.

Thanks guys!!
Shaina, do you still have the code?!
Do the bottoms run true to size too? Nothin worse than a too-tight bottom...that does nothing to help hide my big asss.
ETA: Just saw where you posted the code Shaina! Thanks!
I posted something a few weeks ago about swim suits and how it is difficult for me to find one that fits since I'm 38DD and very curvy. I looked and looked and couldn't really find one that I liked until I found this one: http://tinyurl.com/49feabt
It doesn't look that cute on the website, but a friend of mine who is a little heavier than I am has it and she showed me pictures and it is too cute on her! I can't even tell you the last time I wore a one-piece suit, but it's very flattering on the tummy, hips, and butt. I'm hoping I can find it a little cheaper elsewhere, but if not, I think I'm gonna go for it. I need a confidence boost on the beach and from what my friend says and from reading reviews, this might be it.
