  • I know, it is so frustrating.  If you are larger than a DD you can't get a single bra at VS.  Or Macys :/

  • Not enough profit margin.  Unfortunately, you're in the minority, so you get shafted at VS.  Makes perfect economical sense to me.

  • Then my DH shows me this map of the world color coded according to cup size.. wow them Russian girls!!!

well it's not like large breasted woman go around braless.. I spend money on bras just like any woman! lol Someone is making profit off of me and other ladies. You would think VS would want to grab some of that cash too.

  • I've never understood why they go up to DD in bras at VS but all of the cute lingerie only goes up to a C cup max.  Makes absolutely no sense to me why they have so much for smaller cup sizes but have very few options for larger ones, especially when it seems like everyone and their mothers are getting boob jobs.  (Sorry, pent up frustration from looking the last couple months for something sexy to celebrate my weight loss)

Definately go to Nordstrom, they have a fantastic selection of sexy stuff for larger cup sized!

  • Big sizes aren't the only ones who get shafted.  I'm a 34A on a good day (even through pregnancy and almost 2 years of nursing, it never changed) and the sexy stuff usually doesn't start until a B.  I guess they figure 12 year olds don't need that (at least I hope they don't!).  I can find some bras padded enough to stop a bullet though.

Ditto this.  I was a 34DDD before I got pregnant.  Of course, now I'm a 34H and I can't find them anywhere either.  Apparently you can't have big boobs if you aren't big around too.

I'll throw my gripe in here too.  I'm a 30 in band size and it's dang near impossible to find bras for very narrow ribcages.  Nursing bras were the worst as most started in a 34.  My ribcage didn't expand when I was pregnant so I was screwed.  For some reason, the few places that even carried 32s at all only had them for D and DD.  I don't get that logic.  Why would the skinniest people need only large cup sizes?

And I agree with Kim too that the cute lingerie not only doesn't come in As, but it also doesn't come in band sizes smaller than a 34.

Where are you seeing 32D? I never ever see them, and usually end up just getting a 34 because it is easier though the 32 fits me better.

Motherhood Maternity and a Pea in the Pod are the ones that always seemed to have the smaler band sizes exclusively in larger cup sizes.

As for non-maternity bras, I love Wacoal bras because they make smaller band sizes.  They carry them at Nordstrom, but the selection is better online.

Thanks, I'll check Nordstroms.....no need for maternity bras just yet!

The problem with them is - if you need anything above an E cup, you have to be a 42 around. WTF?!  I can't even attempt to make that work.  I can do a 36 instead of a 34, but 42 is just out of the question!

This, sadly. Though I don't have a huge problem finding bras in my size, finding some that fit well is really hard for me, even at VS.
