When I was driving up 304 in New City this afternoon where it merges the two lanes down to one lane, I sped up and cut off the old guy in the lane next to me because I didn't want to get stuck driving behind him after the lanes merged.

I refuse to celebrate DH's uncle's family's birthdays anymore. (He has a very small family of only 2 uncles and 1 cousin). We used to do a small gift for them but they "forgot" my birthday for the last 4 years. I only send a card for their son (he is little and doesn't know any better).

I told my MIL that she was being a bi8ch after she charged us for watching her own grandchild after she knew that at the time I was in college and dh was just starting his career and we had little money. I didnt mind paying her but she charged us an arm & a leg for just a few hours and did not think twice about it. My parents never even thought about charging us to watch their grandchild b/c they know that I was in college and dh was just starting his career and we had little money. my parents still watch or children for free now eventhough we are financially secure. thanks mom and dad

i can't imagine any of our relatives expecting to be paid to babysit!

unless someone gave up a paying job to do it, i guess.

Oh lord, I could do this all damn day.

My mom lost a bunch of weight last year in a very unhealthy way. She's gained most of it back so I gave her my old clothes that are too big on me. She swears she'll lose it again. I still gave them to her. Happily.

My sister is due with her 4th kid next week. I've already given my unborn nephew a nickname bc she's keeping his name a surprise. Dude, this is your FOURTH child. No one really cares anymore.

MH gave up sweets for Lent. It's killing him. This just means that I don't have to share my Cadbury mini-eggs with him.

MH was supposed to work late tonight but his schedule changed last minute. He doesn't know it yet but instead of "letting him relax" I'm dragging him to Garden State Plaza. Fuuck him thinking he's more tired than I am.

i have a lot of compassion for people who need it - children, the mentally or physicially handicapped, demented....etc. if you are idioti, my compassion goes out the window. example: old lady (not demented) gets pissed at me yesterday for it taking me 20 minutes to get to the ER to see her because SHE decided (in the ice storm) that she was going to wheel her ancient a** outside with her walker, put bird seed in the bird feeder, and fell and sustained a nasty break of her leg. She did not get a whole lot of compassion....you can use your imagination with that one (and no, i still did my job well!)

PS for anyone feeling particularly crabby, don't be mean to the person who is the gatekeeper to the narcotic pain meds, just saying.....

ditto this, although I gave my brother and sister $ for helping my mom with watching MJ while I was in the hospital. My sister drove home from college to help out and my brother is in HS and not working. However my mom would never ask me to pay.. hell she said to MJ numerous times today that she "can't wait until he can sleep over"

I did not a gift at the wedding both D & I were in this weekend. The bride & groom gave me a bounced check at our wedding then said she would send a new one & never did. Our rule is always we give what we got of course there are exceptions but in this case i felt our gift was being in the wedding. LOL
