Cohen was invited by his best friend at daycare to come over and play for awhile tomorrow. That time that works best for both families happens to be over the lunch hour. I offered to bring some fruit or something for lunch, but the other mom graciously declined.
She's doing me a huge favor by taking Cohen for a few hours (hello, free babysitter while I get AJ's haircut and run other errands). Do you think I should bring a small gift for the mom, or maybe for Cohen's little friend? I'd feel weird coming empty handed. I definitely plan on reciprocating the invitation, so maybe that's enough.
WWYD?
Happy mom to two sweet, silly boys: Cohen age 4, AJ age 2.
