Can I get some T&P too?
This isn't as tragic as angelaggie's request but I thought I'd ask. My school did their layoff's today (or whatever you want to call it.) 28 teachers are not having their contract renewed for next year. 4 of those are from my department. Today was a terrible day at work and I just feel sick for those people. I still have my job but it's still hard to watch your friends be told that they don't. So, if I could get some T&P for all those people who were told today that they don't have a job next year, that would be great. Thanks.

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm glad you're "safe" but I can't imagine how hard it is to be watching your co-workers finish out the year knowing they aren't coming back. Lots of T&Ps headed out to them! Hopefully the state will get their budget figured out eventually because we definitely need our teachers! Its just so incredibly sad that education is where the cuts are.
