Yay, it's Friday!

Party!!!Party!!!Party!!!Party!!!Party!!!

I am so excited for this weekend. Jason has to work all day both days, so I have plenty of time to myself to do whatever I want! I don't have any plans yet, but I really don't care. I am just excited for some ME time.

I also have a pretty big announcement which makes me excited. I decided to go on to get my masters degree starting this fall. I figured I have went to school this long, what is a few more years. I am taking the GRE in a couple weeks, so I will probably spend a lot of the weekend studying. Really though all this centers around what we decide about moving in May.

Does anyone else have any plans for the weekend?

Re: Yay, it's Friday!

  • Good Morning & Happy Friday! I am so ready for the weekend.

Today I will probably be running errands once A wakes up. Tomorrow we have date night. Not sure what we're going to do yet. Sunday nothing planned. I'd like to do a good cleaning of  the house, so maybe DH can take A out and I can clean.

Kaley-enjoy your me time. Way to go on deciding to get your master's degree! What will it be in? Good luck with the GRE.

  • kaley - awesome news!

I'm having lunch with my new boss today and seeing my office. So nervous! It's also the last day of laycation. Tomorrow we're going to celebrate our engagiversary at Seneca Lake and go outlet shopping. So excited for our little getaway! :)

  • YAY KALEY! What are you planning on studying? My #1 piece of advice about the GRE is don't psych yourself out. So many people freak about it and end up with much lower scores than they should. Realize that it's just one part of your whole application package. Study, but don't overkill it. And the night before, STOP STUDYING! Take a break and just relax. The first time I took it, I went bowling the night before. The second time I took it (when I went back for my second M.A.) I went and got a massage.

This weekend I don't have any huge plans. I'm thinking about taking a cooking class on Sunday morning if my friend still wants to go (and if there's seats left). DH and I are going to the farmer's market tomorrow morning. That's about all the big plans...

  • I am probably going to get my MBA. I have to have my application in by May 1st, so I have a lot to do in the next 5 weeks or so.

  • The hubs and I are both working all weekend.  We are too busy.  But we have a 2-week vacation coming right up so I can't complain.

Kaley - way to go, what an awesome decision to make.  Good luck getting everything set & w/your prep for the GREs.
