Re: Weekend plans?

  • Grad school work.  I have about 6 weeks left but am just now taking midterms.  So, I'll be writing papers and studying for tests all weekend.

On Saturday we are doing Easter with DH's side of the family since his sister and her family are moving to Hawaii before Easter Sunday.

Sunday is church, a midterm and more grad work.  This is my existance now.....

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.

  • Tonight: Watch a movie and clean the house, hopefully.

Tomorrow:  Burn a pile of brush and maybe go to town to look a new all-seasons (aka summer) tires for my car.  Work on the kitchen, hopefully.  I almost have one drawer installed.

    Sunday:  Church and ?.

  • Tonight will be our normal early evening. : )

I've got girls night out tomorrow!  My first GNO since I've had Will.  We are going to dinner and a concert.

On Sunday will we got to church.  After service the church is having "Burgers and Blues".  It will be lunch and a concert.  Should be fun. We haven't got to socialize much with our church friends lately.

  • This is our anniversary weekend.

No real plans for tonight, I don't think.

On Saturday, we're going to Beer for Beasts (http://beerforbeasts.com/) in Brooklyn, a fundraiser for the NY Humane Society with 16 Six Point beers on tap, food & drink tastings, and burlesque & a band.  Can't wait!

And on Sunday we're planning to go to Coney Island, where we got engaged.  That was our plan last year, 'til E got sick as a dog.

Should be a fun weekend, which is good because I just lost a summary judgment motion and I feel sick about it (the bosses are taking it much better than I am).  I really hate losing.  And I did a damned good job on this.

  • Tonight, taking H out for his birthday just him and me.

Tomorrow, H's birthday. maybe the gym. out for bowling and bbq with friends tomorrow night

Sunday, not sure. gym. laundry. maybe out w/ friends or family, no idea.

  • I'm at work 'til 5, then Thunder game. Think I'm going out with my sister and some of her friends to celebrate my birthday tonight.

We leave for NC tomorrow. My grandfather decided it was his time and passed away on Wednesday night. Dad's on his way home right now; we all board flights tomorrow afternoon. I'm glad we get to fly as a family and that my dad gets to come home.

Sunday will be spent with family - I'm sure grieving and catching up, since I haven't physically seen most of them since I was like, 12. I'm hoping that some way, some how, I can still have a birthday cake - the wake is Monday [my actual birthday], so no telling how great of spirits people will be in on that day. At this point, I'm not sure how long we'll be gone.

Tonight: Rodgers is off! We'll have dinner and a movie at home.

Tomorrow: Nate and I are going to a Wildtree tasting party in the afternoon. We also need to go to the grocery store so I can pick up something to make a salad with for Sunday.

Sunday: After church, ladies' salad luncheon. I've been asked to speak about our orphanage project. It is my first speaking engagement about the orphanage. And since I've been working this week, I haven't even worked on my presentation yet. [Mini update on that, our church missions team has decided to support us and have been taking the proposal through the proper channels. Our church has set up a fund for Full Life Ministries, and there should be about $50 in there. :)

  • I'm sorry for your loss Ebonie, glad you can make it to the services though.

Tonight we're just having pizza and salads while DH watches some crazy Sci-fi show on netflix.

Tomorrow we're going to Target to finish our registry! My first shower is only a month away, so I'm getting pretty excited! We also have to measure the nursery windows and get those ordered.

Sunday: cleaning, laundry, etc. DH is going to finish the trim for the nursery closet.

  • I'm working today and tomorrow in Atlanta (I'm not impressed with this city)

Then I arrive home tomorrow night at 10pm

It's supposed to snow in Jersey on Sunday....and I'm having people over for a BBQ.

    Fantastic!

"Persons Unknown". It's about a group of strangers that wake up in this weird little, deserted town. They can't leave and are all living in a hotel. They have all their meals at a chinese restaurant where a staff comes to prepare the food daily and then leave. There's also a hotel manager there to "watch" them I guess. It's a little crazy but even I like it so far.
