As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

i have no idea what happened, ie- how horrible it was, if it is forgiveable but not forgettable, or whether they are real sh!ts....
i co-exist. i don't go above and beyond. i am pleasant when we're together. i let dh deal with most of the stuff that involves them

it is awkward. I too don't go out of my way, before our blow out I would go shopping with MIL weekly, eat at their house a ton while DH was deployed or just working. I am super close with the extended family.
I basically keep it on a need-to-know basis.
It's awkward for us too. Since our blow up years ago it's never quite been the same. We used to go over there a lot more often than we do now and even just talking to them seems weird/uncomfortable to me sometimes.
