Just wondering if anyone has any eucalyptus trees and what their experiences are with them. We are considering planting a few along our fence line. I have heard they grow quickly and repel fleas, which are two very appealing attributes. We are in north Alabama.

Re: Eucalyptus trees?
They DO grow quickly, they DON'T repel fleas.
They also don't tolerate severe cold spells. My neighbor had one that got to about 25' tall (we're in zone 7). I think this past winter may have done it in... time will tell if it recovers. Last winter a huge section of it died.
