Multi Tasking with the sling
So. I just scooped cookies and nursed at the same time. Standing up. I didn't do all of them and I wouldn't do it again but I wanted to see if I could. I'm so inlove with my sling. Right now he sits right where my boob is so I can just whip it out!!
Erika rules!

My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!
It's on facebook, if you can't wait for her to post it here. And Abe looks wicked happy in it!
We have so many talented women here on the Nest!
Oh, I'm so glad you're so happy Brianne! And Abe too of course. And way to go figuring out the nursing while slinging- I never could get that to work! We had a lovely little visit on Saturday- James was a little jealous of another baby touching his toys (that he hadn't used in 12+ months) but now he's using the old baby chair we brought up and saying "Baby? Mama?" It was really my pleasure to lend a hand- and now you're an expert and can make them yourself once you locate a functional machine!
You can always do an approximate using your back. I just did my (non-pregnant) front and back measurements- my front is 23" shoulder to hip (because I'm short, have A cups and a little pooch in the belly) and 21" or so on my back shoulder to somewhere about equal to my front hip bone. You figure the back is more concave, so there go a couple of inches, and then you can adjust for your rack and height. When all else fails, give yourself extra room- you can always shrink it down, but making it bigger is a lot less easy!
Note to self- measure now before belly is too much in the way! I saw the pic on FB and it looks great!
