Recommend your waterproof mattress pad

Cohen occasionally has accidents at night, and I discovered his waterproof mattress pad has lost its waterproof-ness because the mattress was a little damp. When I bought it (just a mid-grade option from Target), it said it would last five years. I'm hoping the next one lives up to its promise. Anyone have a good one to recommend?

Thanks!

Happy mom to two sweet, silly boys: Cohen age 4, AJ age 2.

Have you tried a zipper cover? That's what I'm going to get Nicholas when the time comes to switch him to a twin bed.
  • We got ours from Bed Bath and Beyond.  The JC one only had 2 Twin options.  a cheap one, which felt and looked cheap, at about $20.  The other was about $30-40, and has worked well, for the last 3 months.  We're not PT during naps, but he does occasionally pee through the diaper, or go to bed with his water cup.  The mattress hasn't ever gotten wet, and I think BBB will guarantee stuff for a long time.
