Looking forward to the fact that my boss is gone ALL WEEK this week so that should make for an easier time at work. I go back to the chiro tonight which I'm looking forward to. I love how much better its making me feel already.
Hope you all have a wonderful day!!
Re: Monday
Today is not bad, was running a minute late and where I work, a minute late and 2 hours late are just as bad, blah. So I didnt clock in and then told my boss I forgot to clock in so it wouldnt come up as late, he he, dont tell!
Wore my hair down and did my makeup, which is something that I NEVER do.
Going to an Abs class at the gym tonight, cant wait, have not been to the gym in what seems like forever since I have been sick.
This weekend was nothing like what I had planned but was still good. I found out (more or less I decided) that I was going to Myrtle Beach all next week for a girls trip!
My husband and I went to his sister's for dinner. The entire family was there. Right before dinner his 20-year old niece said she wanted to show us what she got on vacation (she had just returned EARLY yesterday morning, she went to Gulf Shores for spring break w/her boyfriend, a girl friend and another guy). She ran upstairs and came back a minute later wearing a shirt that she had made that said "He put a ring on it." Then after I yelled "I knew it!" she held out her hand b/c no one was quite grasping the situation. They graduate in 2 years and that's when they're getting married. I'm so happy. She and her now fiance met at my bachelorette party 5 years ago (when she was 15)! We had gone to dinner at Hofbrahaus and then to Shadowbox. He was with his family and she said she thought he was cute. At Shadowbox his dad bought me a drink at which point I thought it would be nice to let him know that my cute, little niece-to-be thought his son was cute. The rest is history....
What a cute way to tell the family! Have fun on your trip (color me jealous BTW!).
My Monday is pretty standard issue. Nothing real exciting about it. Yet. Thinking about how boring it is is making me want to go do jump out of a doorway and scare the beejebus out of someone - or have someone do that to me - or something to break the humdrum.
Weekend wasn't all that adventurous either. I got our taxes finished, still have to write some checks and ship them off. H went to brew overnight with a friend so I had the house to myself on Saturday & overnight. Wasted it on a S&TC marathon and catching up on some tv episodes I missed. Got a run in on Sunday - nice blue sky for 6 miles wasn't too shabby.
I started my day off with a 1 mile swim. It was a bit boring, but hey, one mile is a lot to swim so I'm proud of myself. It's only the second time I've ever swam that far at once.
I didn't sleep well last night. I kept waking up and I don't feel like I really got restful sleep, and then swimming probably wore me out a bit. H and I had lunch at Deweys (yay for getting to see H during the day!) and I'm about ready to fall into a carb overload coma. Hopefully some coffee will help!
H and I went to Deweys because we were supposed to meet with a realtor to see a house, but she called this morning and said it had just been leased. Boo! So probably lots more house-hunting in our future!
