Ugh, this one came too fast. How were your weekends?

Mine was good, low key though since I was still recovering from the flu.
Friday we went to a bar for dinner and watched Marquette get smoked. Saturday I ran some errands and worked on some projects at home; including buying an ottoman and mirror for the guest room (yay Target sale) and framing some items for the hall (I need to post a pic). I watched "How Do We Know" and found it boring, boo Reese.
Sunday I went to a local Nestie brunch, yum, and had an eye exam (yay for good vision) and then bopped around some stores before heading heam. There was nothing on TV last night so we ended up watching Marmaduke (movie about dogs) and on Friday we watched Diary of a Wimp Kid. I'm not sure what the deal was with the kid movies this weekend.
Overall, it was lame but productive and peaceful.

I agree, Monday came way too quickly this time!
We spent all of Saturday at the old house getting it cleaned and the garage emptied. It feels good to have everything at the new house.
We also dropped $600 at Ikea on Saturday evening (and had the very romantic meatball special for dinner!), but I think we have everything we need now.
Yesterday we put together Ikea stuff, went to Lowes, had a family nap (the new sectional hold both of us and the cat and dog), cooked a chicken for dinner and relaxed for the evening.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermIt was a baby weekend for me.
Friday evening I was at my sister's house getting things set up for her baby shower. Then I came home and worked on some of the food for the shower.
Saturday I spent the morning getting ready for the baby shower shower, had the shower, cleaned up from the shower. Also at the shower I found out two of my cousins are expecting in the fall. Then Ken and I watched Ghostbusters (so good!) on tv before crashing. My mom called at 12:45 am to tell me my sister's water broke.
Sunday my nephew was born at about 9:30 pm. My sister had to have a c-section
I am going to see him after work today! I can't wait!!!! Other than that Sunday was a lazy day.
Congrats Niki and Hannah on getting new stuff for the house. I'm a little green. We finally got our tax return on Friday so I was all prepared to go and buy some new home decor items and went all over on Friday after work and couldn't find ANYTHING. Bummer!
Saturday we did a major house cleaning and got everything organized. We had some friends over on Saturday night and I made pot roast in the crock pot. It was delish! After dinner, we played The Newlywed Game and Scattergories.
Sunday we went to church and ran a few errands. We were exhausted by the time we got home and ended up taking a nap from 4-6pm, so we didn't get to bed until almost 1am. I'm paying for it today. I was jolted out of bed at 3am by a thunderstorm that rattled our entire house. I got so scared I flung my arm over and ended up slapping C in the face! Our dog started barking like crazy, so needless to say, that was quite a rude awakening.

I agree with you guys, the weekend flew by.
DH and I finished up getting mostly settled in our new apmt.
Saturday we slept in which was glorious! Put a bunch of stuff in our little storage unit we get with the apartment to get it out of the living room. And loaded my car up with 3 boxes of stuff to donate to goodwill. We met my parents for dinner, and then came home and watched our wedding video finally! It was awesome!! It was so great to relive the day and see the messages friends and family left for us.
Yesterday I got up early to go for a run with my dad and ended up falling on my face 3/4ths of the way though our 10 miler. I skinned up my knees, hands and chin and ate some gravel. I was pretty bummed and sore for the rest of the day. boo. But we still ran some errands and dropped a bunch of stuff off at Goodwill. Last night I also started to get a blog going, I'll share it with you ladies once I figure it out more. I was pretty excited about it though.
I'm ready for next weekend already!

Friday night we were pretty lazy, DH was sick so he napped. I went grocery shopping.
Saturday we headed back to our home town to celebrate my brother birthday and went to a poker tournament. I came in 4th and DH came in third
Lame, but at least he won some money. Then I met up with a couple of my friends to just go out for a little bit and b.s. That was nice. We're planning another fondue night in April and I can't wait.
Sunday we had a huuuuge breakfast with DH's family. Hung around his house a little bit, and then drove home. We worked on the house a little more on Sunday, but that was it.
Now it's back to work. My boss is out sick, which kind of sucks since I don't have too much to do today, and she usually loads me up on stuff on Mondays. I'll have to start harassing other departments for something to do.
Ugh, this one did come wayyyy too fast. Hate that.
It was actually a really good weekend. Friday was dinner and movies with Mike which was really nice to just relax and do normal things as a couple instead of being apart or dealing with sad crap.
Saturday we got our WEDDING ALBUM and it's effn sick lol I looked at it SO many times already!! We also got our parent albums so we're having our families over this weekend to unveil them all. Oh! And I'll FINALLY have my video in 3-4 weeks. Ugh. lol
Saturday night was girls night for my friends birthday and we had a blast. We went for sushi and drinks in Philly, which we haven't done in forever. It was so much fun. We laughed at ourselves though, that our conversation has matured from which bars we want to try next.. to what room we're decorating or what home store has the best sales, etc lol
Sunday I had a baby shower and mannn it got my little clock just a ticking! She had a beautiful full belly and she's so happy to have the baby boy next month(ish). All the cute stuff and clothes and gadgets. Babies, babies, babies lol
Last night we just ordered Chinese, watched a movie at home and relaxed. It was the perfect ending but I hate that it's already over!!
This always happens to me!! When ever I have the extra cash to spend on house stuff I can't find exactly what I want.
I forgot that I filed our federal taxes on Friday, so now I'm just waiting for our return. It'll be a nice boost for our savings and we decided to each have some personal spending money, which I'm using to buy a new ipod nano!!
