I just called United to use my companion ticket and they don't have any flights that I can use it on in the 1st two weeks of August. I've looked at the other fares and we're going to be paying around $1,000 just for two of us to go for the weekend. I guess I'm going to have to leave Lucie and come alone because I'm not going to pay that much money for a weekend and then hotels on top of it.
Re: Ugh (GTG related)
That stinks they won't let you use the companion ticket!
I know it wouldn't be easy to take Lucie by yourself...but remember that you'll have plenty of help with her once you get to Nashville!
And if you connect through Seattle, and we end up on the same flight, I can help you with her on there, too.

That is crazy, why even have companion tickets if they won't let you use them.
Like Carrie said you will have plenty of help once you get to Nashville so feel free to bring Lucie. We have a car seat that fits up to 30 pounds and a stroller, so that is something you don't have to bring and worry about carrying around (if you want to use froggies) and we will have a pack-n-play by then.
Caroline--Froggie shares and I know he/she would love Lucie to use it, if you decide to bring her. It might also give us some practice
Just know that the offers stands
