7. How was the weather? The morning was cloudy with a little rain, but the afternoon was sunny leading to a warm evening.

10. Favorite wedding memory: The look on DH's face when the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? Add another hour to the rental of the building so that we had more time to get pictures before the ceremony and right afterwards.

13. Last dance song? The Dance by Garth Brooks...I am soo glad that we picked this song. It was the only really slow song that my grandma (who is in her 90s) was able to dance to and DH was the one to dance with her. It is one of my favorite pictures too.

15. Favorite part of your honeymoon: the ability to do anything or nothing! Oh and the spa!

17. How are you spending your wedding anniversary? We are heading to the Bahamas for the week. Once we get back we will enjoy the top layer of the wedding cake and watch our wedding video.
I know what I am going to do tonight...look through all the wedding pictures again! I can't believe it has almost been a year for us. Most of the time it feels like it was just yesterday!

7. How was the weather? It was cloudy and VERY windy. We almost had to move inside last minute because there was a bad storm system coming but we got lucky and the system barely missed us and the sun came out just long enough for the ceremony
It actually didn't end up raining until almost right when the entire wedding was over
8. Favorite vendor to work with? Our photographer was amazing! I was actually not expecting our pictures to be as beautiful as they were because we were on a tight budget and used a family friend but she was amazing and so helpful with everything
9. Least favorite vendor to work with? Ugh our florist hands down. He was such a jerk. He did not give me the bouquet I requested and the boutennieres (sp?) looked terrible. My mother was so mortified with the flowers that she called and complained while we were on our honeymoon and he told her "You can't have champagne on a hot dog budget". I was so p!ssed when I got home and heard that. Whats sad is we even offered to pay him more for more flowers but he said for what I requested he could fit it in my budget and that he just wants to make the bride happy and its not about the money
10. Favorite wedding memory There were so many great memories, Im not even sure which one to pick lol
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? The fact that we served cake right after dinner. I would have waited longer because it seemed that shortly after the cake was cut everyone started leaving
12. Favorite wedding item (i.e., cake topper, centerpieces, bouquet, etc) Does the cake count? The cake was AMAZING.. it was so good that I ended up eating the entire top tier when we got back from our honeymoon, I think I am going to get another mini cake made by our bakery for our anniversary
13. Last dance song? We didnt have one.. we were supposed to but we were so tired and ready to go home that we just decided to go ahead and head home instead, I'm glad we did though because we at least got a little rest before we left for the honeymoon
14. Where did you honeymoon? We did a 7 day Royal Caribbean Cruise to the bahamas, St Thomas and St Martin. I had a dream about our honeymoon last night and now I am dying to go back
15. Favorite part of your honeymoon The four wheeler tour that ended up just being H and I and the tour guide. We got the most breath taking tour of St. Martin
16. Least favorite part of your honeymoon When we docked in at the Bahamas and we had to immediately leave due to bad weather
17. How are you spending your wedding anniversary? I think we are going to take a 1-2 day trip over to Jacksonville and eat at the cheesecake factory and do a little shopping and just relax

9. Least favorite vendor to work with? Baker. She was controlling and annoying and didn't really pay attention to me.
10. Favorite wedding memory Talking and joking with my dad right before we walked down the aisle. This is the first thing (besides the obvious) that pops into my head.
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? I would have spent more and got a better photographer. I love our pics, but 2 photogs would have been so much better.

2. Wedding Location - Ceremony & Reception Ceremony was at a Catholic Church which is located in our new neighborhood. It's where DH made all of his sacraments and it was 10 min away from the reception site. Mine would have been about 45 mins away, so we used his church (much to my parents' chagrin). The Reception was at the Addison Park in NJ. Both amazing venues and they came out great in photos!!!

5. Cake flavor Yellow cake with a choc fudge filling and buttercream icing - sounds boring but it was AMAZING

7. How was the weather? PERFECT!!! Naturally, this was my biggest source of anxiety, and I prayed for a whole year for a nice day. I got it
It was about 60 degrees, clear blue sky, and a little breeze. I wish every day was like that day.

9. Least favorite vendor to work with? Thankfully, I didn't have any trouble with my vendors...
10. Favorite wedding memory - O gosh...walking up the aisle and everything was a blur, but I tried to focus on DH's face. Also, after I said my vows, DH gave me a little raised-eyebrow "I'm impressed" face because I did not cry! LOL very funny. I loved getting ready in the morning with everyone at the salon...and I loved our entrance into the reception. What a fun day!!!

7. How was the weather?: Absolutely GOREGOUS! About 65 degrees and sunny - couldn't have been any better, especially for New England in April!
8. Favorite vendor to work with? Toss up between our photographers and our baker. The baker just made everything so easy and our cake was just absolutely gorgeous and delicious. Our photographers were such a blast and really captured our day!
9. Least favorite vendor to work with? None - I actually enjoyed them all!
10. Favorite wedding memory: Walking down the aisle. It was definitely bittersweet, since my dad died 10 years ago I was sad that he wasn't there to give me away.. but seeing the look on my husband's face as he watched me walk towards him was something I'll never, ever forget.
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? I would have had our reception at a more stunning venue. Our reception hall was nice, but in retrospect I would have loved to have been married on the lake up in NH.
12. Favorite wedding item (i.e., cake topper, centerpieces, bouquet, etc): probably my bouquet - it had the most beautiful flowers, and had my dad's wedding band tied around it and a locket with pictures of my deceased grandparents. It was really a special item for me!

It was BEAUTIFUL! Like mid 70s and sunny, but a bit windy.

They were mostly all great. The caterer was awesome, so was the decorations lady (she went above and beyond my expectations). Oh, and my baker was amazing! She completely floored us with the groom's cake!
9. Least favorite vendor to work with?
For the most part, everyone was awesome. I was a little ticked at our DJ because Jeff and I had another song that was very important for us to dance to (Nothing Else Matters, Metallica), and he was supposed to make sure we were both around when he played it. He didn't, and we missed dancing to it together because Jeff was outside with some family, and we didn't find him in time. I am still pissed about it.

Well, getting ready was great with all of my girls at the salon and my nieces. But I have to admit it is a tie between the Anniversary Dance and when Jeff went up for my garder and pulled out granny panties he had stuffed in his coat pocket. I had no idea, and it was hilarious!!!
11. What detail would you change about your wedding?
A couple - my hair - she did exactly how I wanted, but I just didn't like it looking back; my make-up - I wish I would have got with different eye make-up; I wish I would have gotten a picture with my cousins (first time all five of us had been together at once since I was six) and a picture with my grandpa.

The fog - It kept us from doing anything the last day we were there, and made for some scary travels when we were leaving.

Well, Friday night (ann is Sunday) we are going to a super nice restaurant about an hour away, then that weekend I have volleyball tournaments both Saturday and Sunday (oops). I ordered a photobook off of Shutterfly since I finally got around to doing it Friday, so we will look at that as it is supposed to get here by that Friday at the latest, watch the video and eat our cake. : )

5. Cake flavor- We had two for our actual wedding cake. White cake with white chocolate mousse and red raspberry filling, and banana cake with peanut butter and chocolate filling. Mmm sooooo yummy! DH?s groom?s cake was chocolate kaluha fudge with chocolate ganache filling. YUM!
6. Wedding Colors- dark purple and light green with hot pink accents
7. How was the weather? Cool. It was overcast and in the high 50?s maybe low 60?s??
8. Favorite vendor to work with? Probably our florist! She was so creative!
9. Least favorite vendor to work with? Reception. Although at first they were great. The person we were dealing with became such a jerk!
10. Favorite wedding memory- Walking down the aisle?It?s almost a blur now. But seeing Keith at the end of the aisle was just amazing! There were too many other wonderful memories to list. J
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? My hair and possibly my dress
12. Favorite wedding item (i.e., cake topper, centerpieces, bouquet, etc)- Our flowers were just awesome! I also loved the table linens. They were just out of this world beautiful!

15. Favorite part of your honeymoon- The eve of my birthday?we ate dinner with our pool friends that we met there, and then went to the Michael Jackson show and club afterwards. Definitely a fun night!
16. Least favorite part of your honeymoon- The humidity!!!!!!!!!!!
17. How are you spending your wedding anniversary? We decided to spend the weekend at Marriott where we had our reception. They have a spa there, so we are getting a couples massage, going out to eat, shopping, and room service?whatever we want for two days. I cannot wait!

3. How big was your bridal party if you had one? We had 3 girls and 3 boys along with a RB and FG

7. How was the weather? Amazingly beautiful. High of 75 in early April is a sign from GOD

10. Favorite wedding memory just looking out and watching everybody eat at their tables. I took such a great mental snapshot of it and I don't think I could ever forget it.

2. Wedding Location - Ceremony & Reception - Antrim 1844 Country House Inn, Taneytown, MD
3. How big was your bridal party if you had one? - I had 3 BMs and a flower girl, and H had 4 GM, so, 8 in all (not including us!)
4. First Dance song - "You're The One" - Shane MacGowan & the Popes (feat. Maire Brennan)...ahh...just thinking about that song :-)

Cake flavor - Here we go: Red velvet w/ a bourbon cream cheese icing, chocolate w/ coconut icing, lemon w/ raspberry/sherry filling and lemon buttercreme icing , Italian cream cake w/ italian cream filling and buttercreme icing and finally, heath chocolate candy bar cake w/ chocolate icing (groom's cake!)
6. Wedding Colors - champagne, pale gold and cream for decor, bridesmaids wore red gowns
7. How was the weather? - Ah, the weather. One of these days I'll stop b*tching about how beautiful, warm and sunny it was right up until about an hour before the ceremony - after that, gray, drizzly and a little chilly. But at least the drizzles did stop :-)
8. Favorite vendor to work with? - My seamstress - she was awesome, and was so excited about my dress that she made me even more excited about it...even though I know she'd worked on/made hundreds of them!
9. Least favorite vendor to work with? - Our onsite coordinator. He was new, clearly out of his element and ended up dropping a couple of balls...I ended up taking care of details that should have been handled by him the closer we got to the wedding. He didn't last long at the venue (not even a month after our wedding), but I didn't care to be a guinea pig.
But all ended well, and things still went off pretty much as planned without any major hitches ;-)
10. Favorite wedding memory - A few (sorry!): Standing at the altar with H - he got far more emotional than I thought he would...the time spent together with my Mom shopping and preparing for the wedding. We attended to almost every detail together, and I'll always cherish those memories...and finally, just the love and joy on everyone's face at the ceremony and during the reception!
11. What detail would you change about your wedding? In a perfect world, I would say nothing. But seriously? I would definitely have hired an outside coordinator in addition to the one at the site. The previous site coordinator (who was simply a legend, and fabulous!!!) was amazing. And because of him, I didn't hire an outside coordinator - didn't need to.
But then he left, the contract was already signed and his replacement was just "so so" (see earlier answer). In hindsight I would have followed my gut and hired an outside coordinator the minute I found out that K was leaving, instead of letting myself be convinced that the new guy would get it together "once he got his bearings"...he never did.
12. Favorite wedding item (i.e., cake topper, centerpieces, bouquet, etc) - Hmmm...the candlelit centerpieces/florals, and oh yes - my gown and my "choos!"
13. Last dance song? - "Last Dance" by Donna Summer
14. Where did you honeymoon? - Duck/Corolla, NC
15. Favorite part of your honeymoon - Being able to decompress from it all with H, and the feeling of really being married :-)
16. Least favorite part of your honeymoon - Too short - hands down!
17. How are you spending your wedding anniversary? - We are spending a week in Savannah, GA at an historic B&B in the historic district...and there is a great beach nearby...almost time!!
