H and I just went out and got some take out food from a chain restaurant. When we got home the order was incorrect. So I called and asked for my money back. The manager had no problem refunding the money. In the meantime we are looking at the order more and realized that it actually was correct (just looked different from what we expected). So now here is the question.....would you call back the restaurant and have them recharge the card or just let it go?
Re: WWYD?
Exactly!
This is how I am. The other night, we ordered take out from a restaurant, and I ordered a chicken and avocado wrap and asked for the ranch dressing that was supposed to be on it on the side. Instead, I got no french fries, just a side of ranch.
I didn't call, I never complain... Probably to a fault.
I probably wouldn't have called- only because it may have been a royal PITA to change the charge back.
However, next time I ordered from them (which would probably be within the week) I'd leave a very generous tip up front!
I am horrible with calling places. I dont even like to call and make the order, nevermind tell them it was wrong. lol
It's great to hear all your different opinions. We did call back soon after I wrote this question. The manager was understanding and appreciated our honesty and apology. I am so glad we "tessed" up as it would have bothered me if we hadn't.
I also don't usually complain, now I will be reluctant to again.
