Being sized for a proper bra?!
So I am new to this board. I used TheKnot cincinnati board all the time when I was planning, and today came across this board. Was very excited to find this!
Anyways, I have wanted to get sized for a properly fitting bra for a long time (somewhere other than a VS). Does anyone have any good recommendations?!
Hope you're all having a great weekend!
Re: Being sized for a proper bra?!
I go to Nordstrom. Most of their bras are not cheap but they're all that really work for me (big cup). Nordstrom Rack has some of the same brands for $25-30. You can also try Knickers in Hyde Park, although they put me in a too small band for my wedding bra & I had to exchange it so I didn't have "back cleavage" in my dress. Dillards at Kenwood has some of the really good bras too but I'm not sure if I'd go there to get measured.
I'm somewhat of an expert on this subject bc I have an extremely hard time finding a bra (I wear a 28E/F so it gets tricky). Knickers is good, There is also a lady at the Kenwood Dillards who used to own a lingerie shop called candaces. She is fantastic. She fit me and my mom and was right on with our sizes (even when they didn't have bras to fit she was honest about my size, unlike VS).
GL! Once you find the right size it will seriously change everything!
