Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Siggy: Anniversaries!!!
Since our anniversaries are right around the corner (starting this weekend!!!) I think we need to show something in our Siggies for sure! Let's suggest something good, since a lot of us already have our favorite wedding picture in there. Like the kiss at the ceremony? Vows?

I think all of these are great - I love them all :-)
Maybe, favorite "romantic" pic of the two of us - I always tend to share the 'formals', but (at least for me!) I rarely share the more intimate ones showing a nice, quiet moment!

Jeff and I always have this thing with me wanting a "dip"...so he worked it in after our first dance! I love this one! : )
And, I had to include this picture. I just think it is amazingly beautiful of my sister and her family. Talk about romantic!!!
Here's how I did it:
Click on your avatar (above your nestie name on the left of your post), it will take you to your "my nest" site;
click on "edit my avatar and sig";
scroll down to "my forums signature"
enter this text:
A10 Siggy Challenge: Favorite Romantic Pic
<br>
<img* src=(your url here) width=300>
then delete "*" and replace "(your url here)" with the url for your picture
the press "save changes"
I usually find the picture I want to use online and right click and press "copy image url", then I go to tinyurl.com to make it shorter, then I use the shorter url for my siggy

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
GA: Here is how I do it -
1. Upload your picture to tinypic.com.
2. You will most likely need to resize: I usually select the option "320 by 240 for Website/Email". That is the size that my siggy pic is now. If you want it smaller, select Thumbnail -"160 by 120"
3. Copy the "IMG code for Forums and Message boards" link.
4. Go to TN, and click on "My profile". Above your name you should see "Update (or change) Avatar and Signature". Click on that.
5. In the box where it says "signature", paste the code that you copied from tinypic.com. At this time, you can also write something (A10 siggy challenge, etc...) if you wish.
6. Click on "save" and voila! Siggy should be there at the bottom of your post.

The siggy took me an absurdly long time to get to work, guess who's not gonna be a computer programmer anytime soon?
Right after the ceremony DH insisted on going for a little stroll just the two of us before we dove into the craziness of the cocktails and reception. It was really nice to take a breather, and it was our only moment alone that day (well, my photog still was able to sneak this pic). We hadn't seen each other before the wedding so it was nice to just talk without everyone around.
