Re: Since there seems to be interest...(GTG in east?) poll.

  • sure, but with the babies coming and rugby I'm pretty limited to NYC/Phila.
  • Depends on when and how much $ I can save up by then but I would be game if I can afford it!

Depending on when and where, I might be able to come. Once school is over, I should have much more time and (hoepfully) more disposable income. I haven't done much traveling on the east coast, so I'd love to see some cities.

Would DC be an option for anyone? I've actually been there and it's a pretty fantastic city, too.

I'll be in DC for rugby (for my U23 kids, not me) 4/15 and Baltimore 5/22-23 (I think) so I could be down there those weekends Stick out tongue I actually would like to see more of DC; I've only been a tourist there once and it was years ago, but the next few months don't look too good for me.

  • I voted SS - depending on timing, etc...I'd be open to any of those options (obviously Boston is easiest for me and I'd love to show you ladies around!)

  • Same as Jo and Paige-depending on the location, I am up for anything. Southwest flies out to alot of areas in the New England area but DC has always been on my to do list!

Same here. It would depend on when and finances. This year might be too hard since we're spending money these days at the RE, but I would certainly do my best!

I voted Boston because I've never been there :)

  • Boston is one place I've never been. That would be cool. I was born in NY and have been there milions of times to visit family. I think we're going to DC for vacay this year and maybe Philly so my vote is Boston.

  • Obviously, I voted for Boston because I would love to show you all around, it would be so much fun!!!

But I would also be cool with Philly/NY because I know that might be more do-able for folks.

  • I voted Boston because it's the easiest for me and I'm just partial to that city.  I just love it.  I would be up for DC because it's been on my list for while.

  • I love all of those options.  Boston's easy and very fun to visit.  I'd be back at DC any second of the day even though I've been there at least five times (for full weeks) so I've seen most things.  NYC is always fun, although it can get pretty pricey real quick.

  • I voted Boston, but I could do nyc, too. I've always wanted to do a duck tour on Boston or go whale watching again.

That's how I feel about DC, too. I've been twice (it's really the only east coast place I've been), but I love it. It's so easy to get around and there is so much to do. I'm pretty open to anywhere, though. I love seeing new places.

  • Yeah, i kinda optioned the NE since it seemed fair since we've done Baltimore (mid atlantic) and Chicago (midwest).

  • I voted for Boston since that's the easiest for me. I'm not really a spa person, but I'd probably still attend a spa gtg. I could also do NY if I had someone to drive with; not sure I could swing flying anywhere.

I am in a wedding in September and will have a shower and bachelorette party to host, so hopefully it will be a weekend I won't have wedding stuff. Trying to nail down those dates soon.

  • I voted Boston because then Craig and Norah can go hang out with his cousins in Arlington, MA for the weekend. But I would be happy doing anywhere on the east coast. I would especially be happy with DC, but I understand I am totally biased because it means no travel for me. Philly is also pretty easy because it is only about 2 hours away.

  • I voted NYC since it seems pretty central for the Northeast.  Ideally I could do anywhere between DC and NYC, and possbily even Boston, though I think that's the furthest of them all for me.  I realize I'm not the biggest contributor on here but I'd still like to meet everyone!
