South Shore Line train and the Adler Planetarium
I don't remember who it was (maybe Chymes or lzalewski?) who in the past recommended using the Chesterton station for the South Shore Line train, but thanks! We've previously used the Michigan City station but Chesteron was much better. More convenient to the highway, tons of parking, and nice station.
Also, as a follow-up to my Adler Planetarium post, it ended up being pretty interesting. Certainly not the best museum in Chicago, but a nice way to spend a few hours. I liked the historical components which described how people studied astronomy through the ages. My husband liked the planetarium shows.
Re: South Shore Line train and the Adler Planetarium
That was probably me...it's the only station I've ever used and we like it. I'm really glad it worked out well for you!
Thanks for telling us about the Adler, too. We've never been and were curious.
