Re: as if I needed another reason to love target

  • My sister told me a little while back that they had beer now.  Plus my co-worker said they had really good raspberries at the end of last week.  It's nice to have a place you can get everything so you don't have to make a bunch of stops.
  • Good to know!  Im'm glad you posted.  I've been going to Walmart to do that kind of all-in-one shopping.  I hate Walmart but with 2 kids I can get what I need done, and then stuff like deli cheese is easily 1-2$ cheaper than the grocery store.

What do they have for fast food?  Do they have pizza hut?  Because DD begs me.. so we go to Mohawk Commons Target since they have it.

  • They rearranged the one at exit 15 and I was all thrown off Saturday!  Once I figured it out, it was a nicer layout.  The shoes are now right across from the clothes.
  • In VA, the switch over happened in the fall and I love love love it! It's so convenient so I make one stop on the weekend for groceries. I usually still buy my produce locally or through another store (they seem to have a limited selection) but it's fabulous!

    Just Starbucks.  No food place.

I still find Walmart to have a greater grocery section and is cheaper so we'll probably still go there for many of our one-stop groceries/other stuff, but I do like the new convenience!

  • I just went there this morning.

I saw the starbucks, no snacks for the kids :(  Definite downside.

marcy - I do agree about walmart, unfortunately.  They have a lot of ethnic foods, organic stuff, etc. that I purchase a lot of, so it is prob going to remain my '1 stop shop".  For example my Morningstar veg products, organic soy milk, organic milk, deli cheese (land o lakes is at least a dollar cheaper per lb), etc.  Target had some nice stuff though, like panera soup!
