FFC

Even though I got a fair amount of sleep yesterday I am still totally exhausted. I have probably already taken 2-3 10 minute cat naps at my desk this morning and I haven't been here 3 hours yet Sad

Re: FFC

  • I know exactly how you feel. I got home late from Denver last night, and the entire weekend was exhausting. To make it better, I got to work this morning and my computer that crashed last Wednesday still has not been fixed. I have no idea how I am going to stay awake for the next 7.5 hours.

I'm working for them PT until the end of the fiscal year (~10 hr/week). I'm using the money to pay my tuition now that I don't have remission anymore. It was enough to pay for spring and should cover fall as well (and hopefully I'll be done next spring, so only a few more in loans, sigh).

I remote into my old PC through Remote Desktop Connection just like I do from home.

Ok ok! I was thinking you were just working to finish up things! But this make sense.

  • hahahha no i would be there till the end of time. but they liked me and I liked them, so its good. I just don't have enough to do here yet.
  • Crime. I don't feel safe. I'm paranoid about it. I think it's because I am reading the crime logs and making me realize how dangerous it is out here. Shootings, stabbings, robberies...it's neverending. Even in my little city. This is the first time I'm actually thinking maybe moving out of SoCal is in our future.

Ha! No flames here! Mine sits in my suitcase for up to a week after I return from some place before it gets into the wash.  Luckily for me, JP stayed home and did all the laundry!

  • I completely enjoy when DH travels (typically, he's gone weekly-- he's been home for the last 2 weeks). I love not having to battle for the shower... or remote... or fighting for the garage... and love my "me" time. He's going to be home a lot more in the future and I'm semi-not looking forward to it! (in a lot of ways, I am because I love him, but he's been gone so much over the last 3 years that it's really going to be an adjustment.) Ooooh and having him gone so much, I judge couples who cannot be apart...
