Kristin&Kelly...

I was skimming through all of the threads I have missed and I cannot BELIEVE you are 33 weeks already!  I feel like you just announced being pregnant!  Has it gone fast for you too?  Mine seemed to fly by and now I miss my tight, squirmy baby belly!

Re: Kristin&Kelly...

  • I know, it has gone by sooo fast!  I am starting to go into freak out mode with everything we will have to get done (orangize/decorate the nursery, wash his clothes and CD's, get additional stuff from the registries).  DH of course tells me not to stress that we have PLENTY of time since he is somehow convinced I will be 2 weeks overdue.  I love feeling him roll around in my belly, even when he is keeping me up or jamming something in my ribs but I also can't wait to see him in person!

How are things going with James so far??

I LOVE the new picture in your siggy of James with the closeup of the baby toes, so cute!!

  • It is crazy how fast the time goes, then once you hit about 37 weeks things slooow down a bit just because you start to really anticipate him coming!  Don't worry, everything WILL get done b/c the nesting instinct really is true.  The day before Jamie came I was mopping floors and doing every last bit of laundry so that when we came home everything was spotless and ready to go.  Savor these last weeks of having the baby belly b/c you will miss it, believe it or not....I sometimes have "phantom baby movements" when I lie in bed.  But of course, it is even better having my cuddlebug out!

Jamie is doing great!  As I type he is right here next to me on the couch crashed out after nursing.  He tends to sleep a lot during the day, but when he is awake he is so alert!  He just lays there looking around with his cute little eyes, like he is taking everything in.  We sing to him and DH loves to put him in the baby carrier and walk around outside.  At night we have gotten into some kind of routine, with me feeding/changing him at 11, 2:30, then at 5 or 5:30.  I love waking up in the morning and just enjoying his snuggly warm body and knowing I don't have to get up and go to work Big Smile!  Healthwise, Jamie has checked out well so far.  We have a 2nd ped. appt tomorrow as a follow-up just to check on weight, etc.  He has been nursing really well and I am pretty sure he is getting plenty of mlk b/c he does not fuss and act hungry too often.  On occasion he will want to eat pretty soon after his last session, so I just feed him more.

Thanks for the compliment on the picture!  It is my favorite so far.  We are going to get his newborn photos on Friday and I can't wait!  I also can't WAIT to hear your new mom stories too....as well as our other pregnant Nesties.  If you ever have a mom GTG up there maybe I can come sometime since I am off work until August.  Fun!
