I think it was Shauni who posted it awhile back but I can't remember so whoever it was, would you, pretty please, post it again? I want to make it for the lingerie shower/bachelorette weekend.

Re: Sangria recipe?
it was meeeee
one BIG bottle of red wine
some brandy (a fifth)
some sugar (1/4 cu or more depending on taste)
some fruits of yoru choice (apples, pears, oranges, lemons, limes, peaches)
lemon-lime soda (1/2 bottle?)
mix all together and let sit for at least 2 hours to over night.

Drool. I want Sangria.
I like strawberry slices and maraschino cherries in Sangria. They soak up the alcohol wonderfully and are like tiny bursts of alcoholic fruity perfection.

Ok I know this might sound stupid but I have never had sangria so I have no idea of the flavor or mix or anything. But when you say 1/2 bottle of lemon lime soda, do you mean 1/2 of a 2 liter or 1/2 of like a 20 oz bottle?
Depends on how much wine. If you used a regular sized bottle of wine then I'd use 1/2 a 20 oz. bottle. If you use the huge bottle of wine, like one where your hand won't fit around the biggest part, then use 1/2 a 2 liter.

Okay, I'm late to this, but it's still on the front page, so there.
At a party years ago, this girl brought what she called peach sangria, but instead of wine, it had peach schnapps. OMG, it was so good. Like, I drank a lot a lot of it good. I have never been able to find a recipe for it, probably because it's not really sangria, so Googling that doesn't help. But OMFG, so good.
