And after about 25 minutes of searching we finally found the baby's heartbeat on the doppler!
I was starting to freak b/c she couldn't find it, and my doc could sense that my H/R was starting to go up, so we were going to go do an ultrasound, but when we got there the U/S room was full, so we went back to try again to hear the heartbeat and she finally found the little bugger. Thankfully it's a strong 150bpm, and everything is going well, so now we wait 4 more weeks for the next one. I was kind of bummed we didn't get that ultrasound but we're just very happy to have heard the heartbeat!!

Re: Had a doc appt today...
Very nice! Hearing the heartbeat was a big milestone for us.
Honestly, it always surprises me that some doctors would even try to hear a heartbeat anywhere near that early. My SIL's doc did the same thing, and freaked them out after not finding it too.
My midwives didn't even try to listen for it until 16 weeks.
My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!
At my 10 week, she couldn't find the heartbeat either... so she sent me for an ultrasound (and then the bugger was still hiding so I had to have an internal one after not successfully finding it on top). I don't know how I didn't freak out... I literally just kept saying-- I'm not freaking out until someone tells me to... you have no control in that situation!
I'm so glad you were finally able to hear it though! She barely heard mine at the 14 week too- it took a while to find it too. Hope you are feeling well!

That must have been a scary 25 minutes. So glad that they were able to find it and that things look good.
