So my doctor's office called this morning...apparently I kinda failed my one hour glucose test Saturday morning.  Awesome.  But yet, not surprising.  Especially since it is Girl Scout cookie season.  I get to do the 3-hour Thursday morning (after fasting 12 hours...which, for me, is the worst part)...wish me luck!

    If it makes you feel any better, I know quite a few people who fail the first time, but pass the second.  Although, doing the three hour after fasting for 12 hours does not sound so fun.  Hopefully your appointment is early Thursday so you can have most of the fasting while you sleep!  Good luck!

    GD sucks, I had it when I was pregnant. I really hope your test goes well this time. The fasting was the hard part for me too, because I felt horrible if I went without food for a long time like that, but thats why I planned it to be earlier in the morning so that most of the fasting was done overnight. My other problem was trying to hold down the liquid. The drink for the 3 hour was so sugary. Good luck with the test! I'm sure its going to all come back fine!!

    I hope you pass!  GD pretty much sucks.  The fasting wasn't fun, but the hard part for me was the drink.  Oh, it was so nasty.  It was hard to keep it down and I came extremely close to not keeping it down. Ick!
